Summer in the
mountains - Saalbach Hinterglemm offers pure leisure and

Lying at an altitude between 1.003 – 2.100 metres
and surrounded by the wonderful countryside of the grass
covered Pinzgauer mountains, the resorts of Saalbach
Hinterglemm offer a Summer holiday with a huge variety of sport, leisure and relaxing possibilities.
On top of the list of favourites is, without a doubt hiking with 400
kms of marked paths from simple routes for walkers
to high alpine tours for real „mountain freaks“.
For those who would like to enjoy the summits and lush
green alpine pastures, but don´t want to be too exhausted
by climbing uphill, the cablecars are working
in the summer months, these will also take up mountain
bikes.
For cross-country and touring Bikers over 100 kms of well-marked
bike and 180 kms of mountain bike routes are available. Single-Trail
Freaks and adrenaline junkies prefer the challenging
downhills in the adidas Freeride and the Evil
Eye Trails.

The new "Käpt'n
Hook" outdoor pool offers
an unique water world. 1000 m² of water with a wildwater channel, climbing net, whirlpool, and a rain zone. Big
chutes for the kids. Additionally there is a beach volleyball square and a open air cinema. On the shipdeck you will
find the restaurant.
Mystic "devil's water" in the
end of the Glemm valley! Just a few meters after the well
known "Lindlingalm" mountain
hut you will find the devil's water. The alpine circus
Saalbach Hinterglemm has one further attraction!
The
magic world of the devil's water in the end of the valley
is
a big theme park with many offers for
playing and wellness concerning the element water. A "Kneipp"-Basin,
a fishpond, wooden playhouse, rocky pool, cavepath, herbs-of-the-alps-path
and the "Stonedragonsquare", fairy- and gnomeworld,
dancing forest ghosts and some resting places to relax. The whole summer through you can visit the devil's water
for free!
About 30 mountain huts let you have a beutiful view over
our valley and will serve traditional austrian
food and specialities.
